I will share to all of you about my trip in Pare-Pare City.

Well
same with before, first we are gather in our campus to check our attended list.
Actually I feel so exited because this is my first time visit Pare-Pare city
and we will stay in there 1 night. So our tour duration is 2 days and 1 night.
First
we are visiting best western hotel Makassar to practice table manner. This is
very interesting because we are in Indonesia always have our own tradition when
eat, but now we are taught how to eat in the right way when we are in formal
situation. This is very awkward hahaha because we never done this before. There
are so many food tools that make us more confused to eat. We just know that
every type of food have their own tools. Such as soup spoon, dessert spoon,
dinner spoon, dinner fork, dinner knife, etc. all of that tools made from
stainless steal to prevent rust. And also before we eat the main course, we
have to follow the steps one by one. Start from Bread, Appetizer, Soup, Main
Course, Dessert, Tea and Coffee. And about the food, WOW don’t ask because the
taste is very very different with Indonesian taste. so we learn and taste how
the western food looks like.
And
also when we are in this hotel, we are do a house tour in this hotel. So we
learn so much about the facilities in hotel, the room type, and so on. In this
hotel have so much facilities start from lobby, business center, louge,
restaurant, meeting room, swimming pool, and fitness center. And for the room,
there are 3 types of room on this hotel. Superior room, deluxe room, and suite
room.
After
have lunch in the hotel, now we go to Pare-Pare City. But, because when in the
hotel we got a little problem so our lunch is kind of late. So we are also late
Arrived in Pare-Pare. And then we having dinner in Paputo Beach Pare-Pare. This
place is very beautiful because it has an interesting view in front of the
beach. The concept of this place is outdoor so we are dinner and enjoy
Pare-Pare city in front of Paputo Beach, it such a beautiful and interesting
place. So I am very recommended this place for you to having dinner or just
want to enjoy sunset in the evening.
After
that, we go to the hotel take a rest a prepare for our tomorrow. Because tomorrow
we still have a very interesting trip. Keep reading guys J
Today
we are wake up earlier because we have to do morning exercise and continue our
trip. Pare-Pare still have a fresh air especially in the dawn, its very
relaxing and can remove our sleepy. First we go to Pare-Pare seaport, we go
there by walk because the distance its just about 2 or 3 kilometers. We can see
the boat that use for bring people from one island to another island. Even their
transportation could join using the boat. Also we get an information that on
this seaport there are usually cruise ships coming from another island.
Then
we visit Habibie and Ainun true love monument. This monument symbolized Habibie’s
love with her wife is forever and endless. I think most of you don’t get your
true love yet? I hope soon you will get one hehehe ^_^.
After
that we also visit MR Habibie House. this house is the place where he was born
until his family move to java.
But, before that we stopped while in carlos. That a very famous souvenir shop in pare-pare city. You can buy something that you can bring to your country.
Actually this house is belong to the government so,
now this house is being inhabited by the head of Indonesia national bank (BNI) of
Pare-Pare. This house is still original because only the furniture that has been changed but the building is still original. But soon this house will become a museum to remembering the journey
of MR Habibie since he was a child until his glorious. So, if you curious and
want to know about MR Habibie childhood maybe soon you should visit his museum.
And
then the last place we visit is Teras Empang Restaurant. we having lunch in
here, for information this place has a very beautiful view that could make your
lunch more comfortable because we are eating in front of the river so its more
relaxing and enjoyable. Im very recommended this place for you to having lunch
with your family, friends, and of course with your couple.
